Rick Owens' Tanja Top is a sleeveless black knit in new wool, cut close to the body from a round neck down past the hip. Across the chest, the knit is slashed open into a lattice of loose strands and pulled threads, worked in a finer alpaca blend that lets the skin show through. The rest of the body stays plain and smooth, with narrow shoulders and a clean, fitted back. It sits like a second layer, so it works alone or over a long sleeve tee. The contrast between the open chest and the solid knit around it keeps the shape simple from a distance and detailed up close. Wear it with wide drawstring pants and low sneakers.
