Vivienne Westwood's Tie 8.5cm is made in Italy from silk in a red tartan. Lines of white, navy and soft pink cross the ground to form a classic check, a pattern tied closely to the history of the house. The check runs on the bias down the blade, so the lines sit at a diagonal angle when worn. At 8.5cm, the blade has a classic width that suits most collars, lapels and shirt styles. The silk has a smooth hand and ties into a neat, full knot that holds its shape through the day. Wear it with a white shirt and a grey suit, or with a navy knit over a collared shirt.
