Helmut Lang Black Check Mohair Sweater in a monochrome plaid, drawn from the woven laundry bags once common downtown. Relaxed with a unisex cut, it rises to a turtleneck and drops through the shoulder. A brushed finish lifts a soft haze over the check, shading into an ombre toward solid black at the hem. Bomber jacket cuffs and a matching solid band at the hem close the shape, giving the soft knit a firmer edge. Wear it with dark straight jeans, or under a black wool coat.
