Ann Demeulemeester's Emund Shorts are cut from black worsted wool gabardine, smooth with a fine diagonal weave. They are pleated at the front and fall to just above the knee in a relaxed, loose shape. Below the hem, a raw-edged border of white lining shows, a contrast that frames the leg. A button and hook closure sits at the waist, with side pockets and asymmetric back pockets. The waist sits at a regular height, and the loose cut leaves plenty of room through the hip and thigh. Wear them with the matching Peton blazer, long socks and pointed boots.
