Marni was founded in Milan in 1994 by Swiss designer Consuelo Castiglioni with her husband Gianni Castiglioni, originally as an extension of the family fur business. Since 2025, the house has been led by creative director Meryll Rogge, who succeeded Francesco Risso. Marni is defined by an eclectic, art-driven sensibility, bold prints, unexpected colour pairings, and a craft-led approach to materials.
The collection spans the full Marni wardrobe. Ready-to-wear runs through tailored pieces, knitwear, dresses and outerwear in the brand's signature clashing prints and oversized proportions. Footwear is led by the cult Fussbett sandal and Sabot slide, with loafers, ballet flats and sneakers alongside. Bags centre on the iconic Trunk with its gold ratchet clasp and the Tropicalia in leather, canvas or raffia, joined by the Museo tote and a range of accessories.
