Ann Demeulemeester founded her eponymous label in Antwerp in 1985 with her partner, photographer Patrick Robyn. A member of the Antwerp Six, she built a house defined by dark romanticism — deconstructed tailoring, an austere black-and-white palette and a poetic, androgynous sensibility.
Footwear carries that vocabulary in leather.
