Domrebel

Founded in Montréal in 2003 by Justin Svatina and Don Nguyen, DOMREBEL operates as both an art studio and a ready-to-wear label out of their D.R.S.M. atelier in the city's St-Henri neighbourhood. The brand's name derives from the Latin Dominus Rebellis, meaning master of rebellion, a spirit embedded in every piece. Original cartoon characters, hand-painted artworks, and experimental garment treatments cross freely between canvas and clothing, with 90% of each collection produced in Canada.
