Follow our buyers during Paris Fashion Week for SS27 this past June.

WE JUST GOT BACK FROM PARIS AND HERE'S EVERYTHING WE SAW FOR SS27

Okay, we're finally back and mostly caught up on sleep. Paris during market season is a bit of a whirlwind. Showrooms all over the city, appointments stacked back to back, way too much coffee. It's still our favorite trip of the year though, because this is where we figure out what we're actually bringing to the store. So here's the rundown of what we saw for SS27 and what we're excited about.

THE BRANDS WE'VE HAD FOR A WHILE (AND STILL LOVE)

Some of these we've carried for a while now, and seeing the new stuff in person just reminds us why. They're the ones we always make time for.

Rick Owens SS27 was the first big one, and it did not disappoint. He showed during that brutal Paris heatwave and basically leaned right into it. The whole collection was about heat and survival, with these inflated jackets and shorts that had actual little fans built into them using adidas Climacool tech. There was latex, there were these big padded shapes, real survivalist-glamour energy. He also brought back the adidas collab for the first time in years with a new running shoe. It's everything you already know and love about Rick, just pushed somewhere new. You stand in front of it and you just get it.

Better with Age is a totally different feel, and we love that about it. Everything is reworked and a little worn in, so no two pieces are the same. It kind of already feels like it has a story before you even put it on. Really special stuff.

Acne Studios SS27 was a nice reset. The whole thing was built around the office and this idea of a modern uniform, but done their way, mixing different eras and archetypes so it feels familiar and new at the same time. Clean, a little playful, great with color, and their denim is always so good. Simple but never boring, which is honestly harder to pull off than people give it credit for.

And Domrebel is still doing exactly what Dom Rebel does. Heavy knits, wild embroidery, graphics that are a little cheeky. Loud in the best way. We're always happy to have them around.

THE NEW ONES WE PICKED UP THIS SEASON

Every trip we try to find something new to fall for, and this season we grabbed three.

Guidi might've been our favorite surprise. If you're into leather you'll get it right away. They've been doing this hand-dyed, artisanal leather thing forever, and the boots have a patina you just can't fake. The kind of thing you keep for years. We couldn't leave without them.

Hoorsenbuhs is the jewelry one. Those chunky interlocking link pieces have a real cult following, and once you see them up close you understand why. It's fancy jewelry with a bit of an edge, which is very us.

And Vetements SS27, well, you already know. Big, bold, a little in your face. But this season Guram actually made it about craft, sort of an anti-AI thing, all about pieces being made by human hands. There was a motocross jacket covered in floral embroidery, a trench sliced up with mesh panels, some hand-painted denim. Mostly black, cream and khaki with pops of safety orange and yellow. Say what you want, you can't ignore it, and we didn't really want to.

THE BREAKOUTS WE'RE OBSESSED WITH

These are the names we're most hyped to continue bringing in.

Satoshi Nakamoto pulled us in right away. Super avant-garde, really its own thing, doesn't look like anything else out there. 424 out of LA had that clean, dialed-in streetwear look they're so good at, and Guillermo Andrade got personal with it this season. The big story was his first collab with Under Armour, built around sport and resilience, with hero leather jackets done in national-team colorways and that Under Armour raglan seam worked all through it. Marking Distance was a younger brand that felt genuinely thought out and intentional, which stood out to us. RRR123 (Rivington Rebis, Darren Romanelli's project) brought this one-of-a-kind, hand-done, gym-meets-art-studio energy that basically turns clothes into little collectibles. And Y-3 wrapped it up. The Yohji Yamamoto x adidas thing still does sporty but high-end better than pretty much anyone. But the one everyone should be paying attention to is the Number (N)ine collab. Takahiro Miyashita is back running Number (N)ine himself, fifteen years after he sold it, so getting him and Yohji in the same room is a real moment. It's all black, distressed knits layered over Y-3's technical pieces, plus some genuinely wild hybrid boots we hadn't seen anything like before. This one felt important, and we don't think it got the attention it deserved.

WHERE WE ATE (BECAUSE THAT MATTERS TOO)

Not gonna lie, some of the best parts of the trip happened at the table. That's usually where we actually talk through what we want to buy. And Paris fed us well.

Chez Janou in the Marais was our first proper sit-down. Classic French bistro, a big wall of pastis, and that chocolate mousse nobody at the table could say no to.

We had a fantastic dinner with the Domrebel team at Le Saint Sébastien in Paris. The hand-cut beef tartare with charred jalapeño mayonnaise and pumpkin seeds was a standout, followed by beautifully prepared poached pollock and roasted lamb saddle. We finished with cherry sorbet and olive oil cake—everything was thoughtful, balanced, and absolutely delicious.

Assanabel was a warm, generous Lebanese spot, exactly what you want after a long day of appointments. Lots of little dishes and no rush.

For coffee, Café Nuances kept us going with really good specialty stuff. Pontochoux café was our sweet little detour, a Japanese-ish spot in the Marais with beautiful pastries and desserts.  We really enjoyed the Café Pollen in the blistering Paris sun. Cool, creamy, and wonderfully refreshing, it was the perfect little break from the heat.

We had a wonderful lunch at Carré Pain de Mie in Paris. We tried both the Tonkatsu and Ebikatsu sandwiches, and while both were delicious, the Ebikatsu was our favourite—crispy, flavourful, and perfectly balanced. The portions were generous, the presentation was lovely, and we would happily return.

AT FEUILLE, WE DO THE RUNNING AROUND SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO

At feuille, all the appointments and racks and long dinners spent talking it out come back to one thing: finding pieces that actually mean something and getting them to you. We go for the brands with a real point of view, the ones doing their own thing, and the new names we can catch before everyone else does. FW26 gave us a lot of that, and we can't wait for you to see it.

Come check out the brands we came home talking about, from Rick Owens and Acne Studios to our newest favorites, and find the piece that feels like you.
