MM6 Maison Margiela's Numeric Cotton Bucket Hat comes in washed cotton twill, cut with a flat crown and a short brim. Wash pulls the colour back unevenly, lightest along the crown seams and the outer edge of the brim, which reads as the intended finish rather than age. Cotton sits dry and light with the body a garment wash gives, softening where the brim folds. Concentric rows of topstitching run the width of the brim, and the numeric sequence sits embroidered in white at the front, one numeral ringed. Wear it low with a white grandad-collar shirt, or over a dark overshirt.
