Maison Margiela's Four Stitch Wool Beret comes in grey felted wool, wide and flat across the crown. Wool is milled dense enough to hold the disc shape, so the edge sits where it is pushed. Surface reads matte and slightly hairy, with the fibre laid flat rather than raised. Small stem sits at the centre of the crown, and four white stitches run exposed along one side. Wear it pushed back off the forehead, or pulled to one side over a dark overcoat.
