Better with Age Jackets

Better With Age is the Los Angeles label founded by Remy Milchman, a former vintage dealer and fashion-design graduate. The brand reworks existing garments rather than producing new ones, sourcing vintage pieces and reconstructing them by hand into one-of-one designs with a punk, sustainability-driven edge.

Outerwear is where the brand's reconstruction work shows most clearly. The collection draws on vintage denim jackets and workwear staples, including Carhartt and chore-coat shapes, then rebuilds them through patchwork, panelling and visible repair. Indigo denim and multi-fabric construction run throughout, and because each jacket starts from a different sourced garment, no two are identical in wash, wear or detailing.
