Founded in Los Angeles by artist James Franco and designer Kyle Lindgren, PALY Hollywood treats clothing as a canvas for Hollywood mythology. The brand's debut collection, "Hollywood Is Hell," set the tone: Franco's hand-drawn artwork depicting the tragedies, conspiracies, and niche heroes of Tinseltown printed and painted onto distressed tees, hand-knit sweaters, fleece, and outerwear. Every piece is small-batch, hand-worked, and washed in-house using techniques developed out of Lindgren's background at Fucking Awesome and Madhappy.
